PROBLEM BEHAVIOR
XA does not recognize the RDR-7012AKU badge reader.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
XA should recognize the RDR-7012AKU as a valid badge reader.
AFFECTS:
All versions of XA Client.
ROOT CAUSE: Nano reader does not support beep
The RDR-7012AKU badge reader is a nano badge reader and does not support beep.
RESOLUTION
Modify this registry setting to disable the reader "beep", then unplug and re-plug the reader. XA should recognize the reader now.
