Active Directory Password Reset (AD-PWR) is a web application designed to allow users to reset their own Active Directory password without requiring assistance from the Help Desk. It is installed on a web server system, and is accessed using a web browser from client systems.
After enrolling in AD-PWR, a user can use AD-PWR to reset their password if they have forgotten it.

Hardware Requirements
Approximately 50 MB of free hard disk space.
IIS Requirements
- The AD-PWR app must be placed in an Application Pool that is configured to use .NET Framework 4.8.
- AD-PWR must be configured to require SSL connections. If you do not, usernames and passwords will be sent across the network in clear text. An AD-PWR deployment without SSL will not be supported.

Limitations
AD-PWR does not support a load-balanced server environment.
