Summary

The XA 4.14.0 client and server installs include an updated product, package code and version for 4.14.0 so that it will upgrade and retain configuration settings from previous XA installs properly.

New SnapAPP Extension

As part of the XA 4.14.0 release, and updated SnapAPP extension will also be deployed via the Google App Store. It can take several hours or days for an updated extension to be propagated. In the interim, you may download the new extension here and test it in your browser in Developer mode.

IMPORTANT

XA Client 4.14.0 has two new .NET requirements (see this article for the full list of .NET requirents for XA Client).

  1. ASP.NET Core 3.1 Runtime (v3.1.9 or higher) - Windows x86
  2. .NET Core 3.1 Desktop Runtime (v3.1.9 or higher) - Windows x86

  1. Added feature for xaRunAs connector for Kiosk Mode.
  2. Added feature for xaRunAs connector to work in RSM mode / on RSM Server when XAUCM is not running.
  3. Created document for “Policies recommended by Identity Automation for Kiosk Mode workstations to remove cache, history & cookies from Chromium & Firefox browsers” to make SnapApp secure accross sessions while working with xaRunAs connector. To check the policies, see FAQ Question 1.
