PIN Reset Functionality

Before Lynx 1.7.0 release, users could not reset their PIN in the Zulu application. In Lynx 1.7.0, users can reset their PIN Using this functionality.

PIN Reset Settings on Lynx server:

This setting is located under profile settings. To set the PIN reset setting for your ThinOS endpoints, sign on to the Lynx Admin console. Click Settings on the left. Click End Point and then Dell ThinOS. Next, click the version of ThinOS that corresponds to the version of the target endpoints. On the right-hand side, click on New Profile to create a new profile.

After clicking on New Profile, a dialog box will appear which will allow you to customize the settings for this new profile. Click on the PIN Reset option, here you can enable or disable the PIN reset functionality.

The PIN Reset link is shown in Zulu:

The PIN reset Link is shown in PIN authentication windows in Zulu Application.

Click on the Forgot your PIN link and enter the password of your user.

Click on the Submit button. Now enter the new PIN and confirm PIN in the PIN reset window and click on the Submit button.

You will get a success message.
