HealthCast Lynx is a Windows service that runs on a domain-joined Windows server system. Lynx can be configured to use an embedded database or use a Microsoft SQL Server database. Lynx does not store data in Active Directory (AD), and therefore only requires read-only access to AD. Authorized client systems connect to this service using the HTTPS (TLS 1.2) protocol and must authenticate to Lynx using a key or certificate.
