Installing

The following install methods are for QwickAccess to VDI for Windows (QAW) where QA has not already been installed.

Interactive Install

1. Copy the QAW.Install.msi file to the target machine.
2. Run the file as an administrator.
3. Follow the prompts in the installation wizard.

Silent Install

1. Copy the QAW.Install.msi file to the target machine.
2. Open a command window as an administrator.
3. In the command window, navigate to the location of the QAW.Install.msi file.
4. Run the command:

   msiexec /i QAW.Install.msi /qn
   

Client Configuration

After installing QAW, you will need to configure it for your environment. This is accomplished using the QwickAccess to Windows Configuration Tool:

1. Press the Windows Key.

2. Type "QwickAccess".

3. Locate and click the QwickAccess to Windows Configuration Tool item.

4. Make the appropriate configuration changes in the General and Server tabs.

5. Click OK to save your changes.

Mass and Remote Deployment

You can deploy QAW to many machines after you finish installing and configuring at least one machine with the steps above. This creates a configuration file you can copy to the other machines. This will require administrative privileges.

File Location

%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\HealthCast\QwickACCESS\qa.ini

After installing QA to the other machines, copy the file to the same location as above onto the other machines. It does not require any additional modification.
