You will need to contact your Identity Automation Account Manager to obtain a Lynx license for your organization. Licenses are used when a user is enrolled. The number of installed clients does not effect license usage.

You will not be able to enroll users to Lynx unless you have uploaded a valid license file or if either of the following conditions are true:

  • You exceed the number of available licenses
  • Your license expires

ℹ️ Failure to meet both requirements will not cease operations. You will still be able to log in to the Administrator tool and users can still badge in for their day-to-day functions. You will just no longer be able to enroll new users.

Check the Lynx License

  1. Log into the Lynx administrator tool.

  2. On the left-hand side, click on the License tab.

  3. In the main window, you will see the active license's information displayed.

Upload a Lynx License

The following steps are for uploading a license to a new installation or updating a license.

  1. Log into the Lynx administrator tool.

  2. On the left-hand side, click on the License tab.

  3. Click Choose File.
    a. A File Explorer will open. Find and select your Lynx license file.

  4. Click the Upload license file button.

    a. If it succeeds, the license information will appear or update above the Choose File button.
