Anti-virus Directory and Port Exclusion Recommendations
ExactAccess Directories
HealthCast recommends excluding the following directories and sub-directories from your anti-virus scanning:
C:\Program Files (x86)\HealthCast\ExactAccess
C:\Program Files (x86)\HealthCast\ExactAccess\bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\HealthCast\ExactAccess\bin\x64
C:\Program Files (x86)\HealthCast\ExactAccess\lib
C:\Program Files (x86)\HealthCast\ExactAccess\wrappers
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HealthCast
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HealthCast\bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HealthCast\bin\x64
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\HealthCast\lib
Substitute the correct installation drive for "C:\Program Files" if the default location was not used during install.
In addition, if your antivirus product is configured to delete or quarantine applications that require UAC elevation, ensure the product is DISABLED during installation. The client and server configuration tools required to configure a client or server after installation must be present to complete the installation.
Optionally, individual files may be excluded.

Port Exclusions
In addition to directory exclusions, some anti-virus software performs network port control. Exclude/approve the following ports in your anti-virus product if your product performs network port control or firewall services:
TCP 15000-15002
TCP 20000-20002
TCP 25000-25002
TCP 26000-26002
TCP 30000-30002
Microsoft SQL server
In addition to directory exclusions, some anti-virus software performs network port control. Exclude/approve the following ports in your anti-virus product if your product performs network port control or firewall services:
TCP 1433
UDP 1434
TCP 1433: The default SQL server instance will use port 1433. If SQL server has been installed with an instance name, or the port was changed during SQL server installation, open the appropriate port in the firewall or anti-virus product.
UDP 1434: The SQL Server browser service uses UDP port 1434 by default. If this service is stopped or disabled, it is not necessary to open the port.
Citrix
Please exclude the following for Citrix, and also reach out to Citrix to ensure any additional directories and those in the users profile are excluded. Please also ensure all directories associated with Edgesight are excluded.
C:\Program Files\Citrix
TCP 1494
TCP 2598
Other Exclusions
Database Directory and File Exclusions
Our recommendation would be to implement the suggestions in this article (if they have not already been implemented), particularly the sections "Virus sweep software" under "Virus tool types", and "Directories to exclude from virus scanning".
