# Enabling PIN

1. Log-in as a Local Administrator to the workstation you would like to make changes on.
  - Note: The Client Configuration tool will only run under an account with Local Administrator privileges.
2. Open the Client Configuration tool and go to the **ProxCard Support** tab. ![image.png](https://cdn.document360.io/f2567005-8048-43b2-8bfc-3abc2da42bca/Images/Documentation/image%2864%29.png)
3. Under the **PIN Operation** section, use the radio buttons select to either enable or disable prompting for PIN during authentication.
4. Use the radio buttons to set the minimum PIN length a user must enter during enrollment.
5. Click **OK**.
6. The PIN functionality is now set and will take effect without a reboot.
