AD-PWR (Active Directory PassWord Reset)** is a web application designed to allow users to reset their own Active Directory password, without requiring assistance from the Help Desk. After enrolling in AD-PWR, a user can use AD-PWR to reset their password if they have forgotten it.

AD-PWR is a web application. It is installed on a web server system, and accessed using a web browser from client systems.

Please ensure that you have the required server roles and features installed.

Server hardware requirements
Approximately 50 MB of free hard disk space.
Limitations
AD-PWR does not support a load-balanced server environment.
Other requirements
AD-PWR must be placed in an application pool that is configured to use .NET Framework version 4.8
AD-PWR must be configured to require SSL connections. If you do not do this user names and passwords will be sent across the network in clear text. HealthCast will not support an AD-PWR deployment without using SSL.
