Step 2: Remove a Previous Version
If your target IGEL endpoints have a previous version of QwickAccess for IGEL installed, then you should remove it before continuing with the deployment of version 1.3.0.
To remove a previous version of QwickAccess for IGEL, follow these steps:
Open and log into the IGEL UMS Console application.
Identify the IGEL endpoints on which the previous version of QwickAccess for IGEL is installed.
Remove the profile for the previous version of QwickAccess for IGEL from the identified endpoints.
If you wish to verify that the QwickAccess for IGEL application is removed from an IGEL endpoint, open a terminal window on the endpoint (this can be done remotely or locally) and then execute the command cd /custom/qax. If the QwickAccess for IGEL app has been removed there will be a message in the terminal window saying the file or folder cannot be found.
