Silent Install/Uninstall
IMPORTANT
If you are installing on a Windows 8/8.1 or 10 system, then you must either turn off the lock screen or turn on Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
Pre-Installation Checks and Steps:
- Ensure that QuickACCESS Server has been properly installed in your environment and that any other QwickACCESS to Windows System Requirements have been met.
- Plug a supported proximity badge reader into the workstation.
- Local administrator credentials are required for running the QwickACCESS to Windows installation.
- QwickACCESS to Windows will communicate with the QwickACCESS Server using port 8339. Please ensure that port 8339 is not locked down on the system on which QwickACCESS to Windows will be installed.
Silently Install QwickACCESS to Windows
NOTE
This procedure requires elevated privileges, so you must run the command window as an administrator.
- To silently install QwickACCESS, open a command window as an administrator.
- Run this command: QwickACCESS-to-Windows-Setup.exe /s
- QwickACCESS stores all its setting in this file:
- C:\ProgramData\HealthCast\QwickACCESS\qaw.ini
- To deploy QwickACCESS settings, simply copy a QwickACCESS settings file that has the settings you desire into that location on a system where QwickACCESS is installed.
Silently Uninstall QwickACCESS to Windows
NOTE
This procedure requires elevated privileges, so you must run the command window as an administrator.
- To silently uninstall QwickACCESS, open a command window as an administrator.
- Run this command: QwickACCESS-to-Windows-Setup.exe /s MODIFY=FALSE REMOVE=TRUE UNINSTALL=YES
