# Installation

## **Installation**
To begin the installation, run the spdesktop.msi file.

msiexec /i "spdesktop.msi"
SPD_BROWSEREXE="C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

:::(Info) (**Important**)
To support this functionality for a Citrix published application like Epic Hyperspace, this install will need to be applied on both the Citrix server and the endpoint workstation.

This is a list of the MSI Properties that can be used to configure install, see registry section for details:

**SPD_EXITVISIBLE**

**SPD_URLPROTOCOL**

**SPD_BROWSEREXE**

**SPD_SECUREEPICENABLED**

**SPD_EDMANAGERCLASS**

:::(Info) (**Important**)
This install will upgrade previous versions: however, you will need to reapply registry settings or MSI properties when upgrading. Otherwise, default settings will be used.
