# Version 4.4

Version 4.4

Version 4.4.0.0 was a prerelease version for early adopters of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) functionality.

The 4.4 release is the first version to add support for Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), allowing XA and the Epic Auth Plugin to interact with Hyperspace instances published as a Remote App from AVD.

This version was intended for early adopters of Azure Virtual Desktops, which was then superseded by version 4.5 which also included support for Omnissa Horizon integration with XA and Epic Auth.
