This version number was chosen to differentiate this release from previous releases that only support Epic Hyperspace. Epic Auth v4.1.0 can now be used in conjunction with E-Prescribing Controlled Substances (EPCS) v3.0 to provide E-Prescribing authentication with biometrics, push notifications, and One Time Password (OTP). ℹ️ EPCS 3.0 EPCS v3.0 is a separate installation and requires additional configuration and device enrollment. Please consult the product documentation for further information, including how to install and configure this release. ## Unsupported Functionality The following functionality is not supported by this release: - Re-authentication with push notifications or OTP - Re-authentication with biometric - E-Prescribing Controlled Substances (EPCS) will not be supported in this release but will be supported in a separate release of a different plugin, our EPCS plugin for Epic. (See FAQ #10) - Patient identification remains unsupported - Slingshot launching Hyperdrive but the login device is running locally - Integrated narrator workflow not supported in this release, but will be supported in a subsequent release --- ## Known Issues Secondary authentication doesn't work if the user's XA rolling password save time has expired. **Workaround** The user needs to tap their badge to sign into XA to restart their password save time prior to using secondary authentication. ## Related - [Introduction to EpicAuth for Hyperdrive](/epic-hyperdrive-400.md) - [FAQs for Epic Hyperdrive](/faqs.md)
