This article shows how to enable Kiosk Mode on the XA Client for a machine that has already been installed. A reboot of the workstation is required for the change to Kiosk Mode to take full effect.

Log-in as a Local Administrator to the workstation you would like to make the change on.
- Note: The Client Configuration tool will only run under an account with local admin privileges.

Open the Client Configuration tool from the Start menu.

The tool should open directly to the General tab.

At the top, under the eXactACCESS Client Mode section, click the Change Mode... button.

a. A pop-up will appear. Select Kiosk Mode and click OK.

You will be brought to the Kiosk Mode tab. This is where you can customize the appearance of the Privacy Shield and its functionality. For more information on customization, see our Privacy Shield article.
- Note: Changes are not required and if none are made, the default settings will be used.

Click OK to save the changes.
a. A pop-up will appear. Click Yes to confirm the reboot.

Troubleshooting
Configure RemoteAuth Server

- Go the RemoteAuth Server tab.
- Click the plus button to the right to add your XA Remote Authentication server name.
a. You can use the Test Connection button to verify connectivity.
Note: The 'Access Denied', despite the message, means that the connection was made successfully.
